The second Conference on Arab-African Aviation and adjoining Exhibition to be held in the Great Jamahiriya this year, comes at a time as the General people Committee of Transportation and Communication and the Civil Aviation authority have emphasized their efforts to modernize the Airport and the  transportation procedures inside and across the Jamahiriya in a manner suitable to it’s important geographical situation and the increasing fly over movements on the Libyan airports.

 

The Libyan Civil Aviation has enthusiastically set farsighted plans in order to develop and renovate the Civil Aviation sector with all it’s different activities and services, in compliance with the main pillars of Air safety, Civil Aviation Security, Future capacity growth and service quality, operational profits, as well as keeping up with the latest developments and international standards.

 

Coincidently, this event comes at a time where Aviation companies in the Middle East and North Africa plan to upgrade their airplane Fleets by a value of 124 Billion USD by the year 2023 in order to fulfill the international growth estimations.

 

The Libyan Civil Aviation intends to layout a number of projects concerning the upgrade and development of it’s airports` infrastructure to accommodate the economical growth plans. This project and the accompanying Exhibition and Air show with the participation of a large number of international companies will be a gathering to get to know the leading companies and provide the opportunity to learn about the latest technologies, services and products concerned with the different Aviation sectors. This event will be a meeting point for all dealing with  this sector as decision markers in the Aviation and Airline institutions from Arab and African countries will be present . thus, enabling the exchange of the ideas and information concerning the air transportation industry.
